New Proceedings Template for #SMSociety Full Papers and Clarification on Allowable Number of Submissions

We are looking forward to your submissions for #SMSociety 2020 in Chicago at DePaul University! The January 27, 2020 deadline (Midnight Hawaiian Time) to submit your Full and WIP submission is fast approaching.

New Full Paper Proceedings Template

ACM recently updated their submission template. We would like to advise authors to use the latest ACM conference template when submitting your Full papers for review. The main change is that it now uses a one-column format (~6,000-8,000 words). Please see more details here.

The template for WIP submissions (~1000-1200 words) remains the same as in the previous year.

Allowable Number of Submissions

To ensure a diverse roster of presenters at the conferences, each author can only submit up to 2 submissions per track but only one of them as the lead author. So in practice, an author can submit 2 Full papers, 2 WIPs and 2 Posters but they can only be the 1st author on one submission per track.

More information about what and how to submit your work can be found on the Submission page.

We look forward to receiving your submissions, and if you have any questions, please email us at ask@socialmediaandsociety.org
