INFORMATION FOR POSTER PRESENTERS
One of the highlights of the upcoming #SMsociety conference in Glasgow is the Poster Presentation. The poster session will provide an interactive forum for you to present and discuss your research with other conference attendees.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Poster Drop-off: Bring your poster to the registration desk by 15:20 on Tuesday, July 14 (Day 2). You will receive 4 velcro coins to affix to your poster, after which our team will hold on to and set up your poster.
- Poster Session Time: Tuesday, July 14, from 18:00 to 22:00. Please arrive at 17:45 so that you can locate your poster. Please stand near to your poster so you can present it to attendees during the reception.
- Poster Takedown: Please take down your poster at the end of the poster session to take home with you or leave it for us to dispose of the next morning.
POSTER SIZE OPTIONS
- One large poster in a portrait layout: AO paper size: 33.1 width x 46.8 height (inches) / 84.1 x 118.9 (cm)

- You can use the conference basic poster template as a starting point for your design.
WHERE TO PRINT?
We suggest you print and bring your poster. However, may wish to order online and pick it up in Glasgow, we recommend the following print shops close to the conference venue:
- University of Glasgow (UoG) Printing: https://www.gla.ac.uk/myglasgow/commercialservices/print/. If you are not a UoG student or staff member, you can set up an account here. Turnaround time is 3 days although you can do next day printing for an additional fee.
