Toronto is home to many vivid and fun events during the summer. From our beautiful waterfront and great eats to the various festivals and cultural celebrations held throughout the city, there’s no shortage of excitement to fill your stay in Toronto.
For museum lovers, Toronto offers a wide array. The Royal Ontario Museum showcases natural history, while the Hockey Hall of Fame is exactly as it sounds. For a relaxing day filled with beautiful views, stroll through the historic Distillery District, 19th century buildings now home to local shops and restaurants, and then stop by St. Lawrence Market on your way back downtown for some artisanal food. If you have a child with a curious mind, get lost at the Ontario Science Centre where you can watch an IMAX Dome film or discover all the wonders of science.
What’s a visit in Canada’s most exciting city without attending a sporting event? Spend some time at the Rogers Centre watching the Blue Jays play some baseball, before heading next door to the iconic CN Tower and Ripley’s Aquarium for a fun maze of aquatic life on display. July is the best time to be a foodie in Toronto, with many food and drink festivals to choose from.
