The International Conference on Social Media & Society is less that 2 months away! The organizing committee and volunteers are looking forward to meeting everyone and geeking out on three full days of social media research. One of the highlights of the conference is the interactive Poster Presentation and Reception featuring ~50 posters on Thursday, July 19 at 17:00-19:30 (5:00-7:30 p.m.). You can see the list of accepted posters below.
If you are a poster presenter, here are some tips:
- Review a guide on “How to Create a Research Poster” or “How to Design an Award-Winning Conference Poster“
- Bring your poster to the conference on July 18 or 19 and leave it with our volunteers at the registration desk between 08:30-13:00 (8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.). Our volunteers will set up your poster for you.
- Poster boards (and velcro tape) will be supplied.
- Feel free to leave your poster up for viewing on the following day of the conference.
Poster Size Options
- One large poster in a landscape layout (AO paper size / 33.1 in Height x 46.8 in Width) or
- Two small posters in a portrait layout (A1 paper size / 33.1 in Height x 23.4 in Width) *Note: If you choose the A1 you will have to divide your content between the two (A1 size) posters, and the two A1 posters will be displayed in portrait mode side-by-side.
Where to print?
We suggest you print and bring your poster with you. However, if you have time and would prefer to print your poster in Copenhagen, there are some local options:
- Vester Kopi (Falkoner Alle 8, 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark)
- Print.dk (Vesterbrogade 136A, 1620 København, Denmark)
Note: The Conference Organizers have not used these local print shops, so we are unable to confirm the cost or quality of their work.
